DESCRIPTION:This event includes two sessions:\n\nPart 1: Saturday 25th November 2023 @ 15:00 to 18:00 CET\nPart 2: Saturday 20th January 2024 @ 15:00 to 18:00 CET\n\nPurchase tickets for this event\n\nDescription\n\nThe word ‘nature’ has two different meanings: on one hand\, it refers to  a physical reality surrounding humans\, including plants\, animals\, landscapes; products or events coming from the earth; on the other\, it describes the qualities\, character or essence of somebody or something.\n\nIn these two workshops we will explore how both these meanings can be useful tools and allies for understanding ourselves\, as well as our life experiences. We will look at how ‘nature’ in both its meanings has a voice that engages our capacity for interaction and reciprocity\, be it conscious or not\, desired or not.\n\nWe will ask ourselves if and how these two definitions of nature might overlap and\, if so\, in what way. How do reality and perception inform the meaning and direction we give to our outer reality\, as well as to our inner one?\n\nThrough creative activities and work in pairs/small groups\, we will try to distill some useful insights to bring resources\, meaning and healing to whatever is featuring in your life at this moment.\n\nParticipants will be invited to keep a personal journal/diary in between the two workshops to deepen their explorations.

SUMMARY:The 12 Holy Nights
DESCRIPTION:The Twelve Holy Nights encompass the period between Christmas Eve (24th December) and Epiphany (6th January). \nThis is a sacred time of the year in many traditions and places around the world – a time that encourages reflection and reconnection with our spiritual selves; a time for imagination\, dreaming\, rest\, but also communion and sharing with others. \nThis year\, I am creating a shared imaginal space by sending around an image and a piece of music each morning\, for 12 days\, to those interested in joining and experimenting with this process. \nThere will be an introductory gathering on December 23rd to open the space and the process\, and a conclusive gathering on the 6th of January to close them and share about the experience in a circle. \nThis can be a very powerful process of introspection and transformation\, and a regular commitment to each Holy Night adds to the depth and richness of the process. \nIndividual attunement and process\nZoom dates: \n\n23rd December – gathering on Zoom to open the process\n6th of January – gathering on Zoom to close the process and share\n\nThe following dates will be honoured: \n\n1st Holy Night: 25th December – individual attunement and contribution\n2nd Holy Night: 26th December\n3rd Holy Night:  27th December\n4th Holy Night: 28th December\n5th Holy Night: 29th December\n6th Holy Night: 30th December\n7th Holy Night: 31st December\n8th Holy Night: 1st January\n9th Holy Night: 2nd January\n10th Holy Night: 3rd January\n11th Holy Night: 4th January\n12th Holy Night: 5rd January\n\nDonations\nAll contributions collected through these workshops will be used to buy and\nplant new trees and for the building of a pond on Prà Strela\, the land I work\nfrom as an eco-counsellor and group facilitator in Sgonico\, Trieste (Italy). \nMake a donation

We will access our dreamscapes\, and let ourselves be guided by images and dream experiences emerging from there\, hence transcending literal and tangible reality. \nEach participant is invited to bring a dream (or part of a dream) to the circle and share it with the others. \nPlease don’t be tricked by the title of this gathering: you don’t need to have dreamt of an animal to share your dream! An animal will join our explorations as a guide or mentor\, according to what emerges among the group\, so be ready for a Christmas gift and surprise! \nA note for those who don’t dream much/cannot remember their dreams:   \nPlease join the circle too as we will need some participants acting as dream’s resonators\, a role that will allow us to play together with the magic of Winter dreaming. \nWhat to bring\nPen and paper/diary\, coloured pencils or paint.

Let’s welcome the Autumn Equinox\, the time of the year where the length of days reduces and the light of the Sun reaches a point of balance – in a moment of perfect equality – with the night time. How is it for us to be and meet on that threshold? \nWe will enter the circle of this season by moving from the manifested sides of Nature and of ourselves to more downward and hidden places. Guided by trees\, we will take the way down from the canopy and the branches into the roots. \nEntering the ground\, meeting the soil\, both physical and metaphorical\, we will explore the messages and insights that will emerge from there\, remembering that we have roots. What’s their meaning and purposes for the final months of this year? \nWhat to have at hand\nPen and paper/diary\, coloured pencils or paint. \nPreparation\nChoose a tree in your surroundings and visit the place where it stands. DESCRIPTION:Description\nWater\, Air\, Earth and Fire surround us daily in multiple ways\, but we rarely pay attention to how they serve our life. \nThis workshop offers an opportunity to connect with and reflect on our elemental world and our elemental selves\, focusing on the multiple links to our experiences – outer and inner – as well as our relations with others. \nBy combining experiential exercises\, work in Nature and exchanges with fellow explorers\, this workshop will: \n\nallow you to listen to the teachings of the elements directly from them;\nprovide you with a chance to attune and commune with the elements both outside and inside yourselves;\nbuild bridges between the elements and yourself as a being in interaction with other fellow humans\, as well as the other-than-human world.\n\nThe day will provide opportunities for independent explorations\, as well as work in pairs and in small groups. \nPlease bring some vegetarian food to share as we will have lunch together on the premises. DESCRIPTION:As we move closer to the threshold of 2023\, this workshop is an opportunity to take some quiet time and sit in a virtual circle to listen to Winter’s story from your dreamscape – the timeless landscape of imagination and dreams. What kind of story is narrated there? What do you hear and what does it have to tell you about the year that is about to end? \nIn this deeply personal and yet shared experience of connection to yourself and year 2022\, we will walk around the rim of the Wheel of the Four directions to link your lived\, tangible experiences of the year with your timeless Self. We will borrow the ancient tool of the Wheel – known across cultures and eras as a way of life – to uncover some hidden meanings\, find guidance and establish personal connections with Nature\, both as a physical reality and as a dimension inside yourselves. \nThis is the first of a series of workshops that will be offered in 2023 as we follow the path of the Sun through the cycle of the seasons. You are welcome to participate to one\, some or all the workshops. The series is open to all\, and no previous experience or knowledge of the Wheel of the Four directions is required.
