With the arrival of Summer, the energy of the Sun is at its most powerful, and nature around us speaks about manifestation, maturity and ripening. Many people experience a strong, powerful and very tangible connection with the material world during this period, and the experience of embodiment changes as our senses become engaged more intensely. Which memories do you have of your Summer holidays as a child? And what makes Summer ‘Summer’ for you today? By remembering the child we once were, we will connect to a special place inside ourselves, where the Magical Child lives. We will listen to the teachings of the Sea/Ocean through a creative/fun activity that will help us find gifts and resources for our most mature/adult side. Through visualisations we will also consider the role of trust, courage and playfulness in our lives.

In this first circle of the year 2023, we will explore various themes that the arrival of Spring evokes: the return of light and the power of the Sun; awakening; emergence; initiation; rebirth. We will look at some of these themes through experiential exercises, visualisations and work in pairs, eliciting the connections and mirroring of our inner Springtime with the outer one. We will also connect to Nature directly, attuning to the teachings of plants and birds in their dual role as active representatives of Spring and - at the same time - as witnesses of it.
