Counselling & supervision

I have a 48 hours cancellation policy. If you cancel an appointment over 48-hours in advance, I will not charge you for the missed session, and when possible, I will try to reschedule your appointment.

If you cancel within less than 48-hours (or you don’t attend a session), you will still need to pay for the appointment as I have reserved the time and space for you.

Late arrivals & missed sessions

If you are late, please expect the session to finish at the appointed time. If you are over 15 minutes late and have not contacted me, I will assume you are not able to attend your session and will consider this as a cancellation without notice.

In the very unlikely event that I am late for a session, I will make up the time so long as this is possible for both of us (or for the three of us), or offer you another appointment.

If I have to cancel a session, you will not be charged for it and, if possible, I will offer you another appointment.

Commitment, holidays & endings

Our work together is a commitment and it requires regularity in order to be effective.

Once we agree to start counselling sessions together, I ask for a minimum commitment of 6 weeks. During this period, any cancellation will be charged in full, unless an alternative date/time is agreed within the same week.
After this period, please consider that frequent breaks between sessions bring discontinuity and may disrupt the process. Should you repeatedly book and cancel appointments, I might ask for a non-refundable anticipated payment.

I will try to give you good notice of my forthcoming holidays and breaks, and I hope you can do the same. Aside from bank holidays, I am generally an annual leave one week for Christmas and one week for Easter, and around 4 weeks over the summer period. I might be away for trainings or conferences at different times of the year, but I will try to give you good notice of this, and offer you a chance to catch-up your session.

You can decide to end your sessions at any time. However, I suggest allowing at least one or two sessions to review our work together and bring it to a meaningful closure.

Workshops & events

Provided written notice is given before a workshop/event takes place, all bookings are fully transferable but non-refundable. Please email me to cancel or rearrange an event.

Should I have to cancel or rearrange an event, you will receive a full refund or the opportunity to switch to an alternative date/event, or credit against a future event.
